Check Your Baker During Live Votes

When Tezos governance is active, the live Chamber tracks proposal state, quorum, supermajority, time left, and baker vote behavior. Save a wallet, address, or .tez name in My Tezos and the dashboard turns that into a personal vote check for your baker.

Follow the active proposal, top non-voters, vote order, and historical failed-vote context.

How It Works

Tezos governance follows a structured 5-period voting cycle. Any baker can submit a protocol proposal, and all bakers vote proportionally to their staking power.

1. Proposal

Bakers submit and upvote protocol proposals

2. Exploration

Bakers vote Yay/Nay/Pass on the top proposal

3. Cooldown

Testing period on a temporary test chain

4. Promotion

Final vote to accept or reject

5. Adoption

Approved protocol activates on-chain; operators prepare compatible Octez releases

Supermajority threshold: 80%. Each period lasts 14 cycles, about two weeks at the current 6-second block time. A full governance cycle takes about 10 weeks.
